  • Latha ma'am is like a grandmom to my kids. She learns moral qualities as equally as her academics from ma'am… With Latha ma'am she learns more than just a subject. She is encouraged to be herself and is exposed to Tamil arts, dance and singing at Balakshitha Academy. My daughter has visibly improved morally and socially and is able to stay related to Tamil culture… I have now enrolled my son to gain the same experience and he loves to be in her class.

  • Our children have been learning Tamil from Latha Ma'am at Balakshitha Academy for over three years, and we are truly grateful for the journey. She does much more than teach the language. She beautifully brings alive Tamil traditions, culture and the wisdom of Thirukkural, making every lesson meaningful. What truly sets her apart is her wonderful way with children. With her warmth, patience and convincing nature, she has a special ability to make children want to learn, and slowly, genuinely, fall in love with Tamil. Thank you, Latha Ma'am, for giving our children not just the knowledge of Tamil, but a love and respect for the language and its heritage.

  • I see a significant improvement in her reading. Balakshitha Academy puts in a lot of effort not only in teaching Tamil to the kids but also in getting them to know the rich culture we have. My kid has improved a lot; she reads Tamil by herself to an extent now. I really thank Mrs. Narmada and Mrs. Latha for it.

  • We have seen great improvement in Saif's ability to read, write and speak in Tamil. Not only that, ever since he joined the academy he has also grown more confident in voicing his thoughts and opinions. Ma'am is not only a great teacher but she is also an amazing person… The academy has not only helped my child with his academics but has also helped shape him into a kind and well-read kid.

  • In a short span of time they learnt the alphabet and started reading words by themselves. Classes were so fun and entertaining. Each kid gets the attention they need… Other than the regular curriculum, kids are taught about moral values and character development, which I personally liked very much. Parents' concerns were always heard and addressed. Always available to attend our calls, and flexible timings were an added advantage for kids outside India.

  • Now he is writing Tamil very neatly and with good handwriting. This academy handles each student very well and gives individual attention in a good and caring manner. In addition, they teach Tamil slogans and our traditional cultural songs, which is really appreciable.
